Steve Trevor Returns! Patty Jenkins Gives Surprise Look At Chris Pine In Wonder Woman ’84

Wonder Woman
director Patty Jenkins has given fans a sneak peek at the forthcoming sequel, with a surprise return from Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor.

Steve, who supposedly died in the first film, appears to be back alive and well. This isn’t the first time a similar situation has occurred, however, with the first season of the original Lynda Carter-starring Wonder Woman TV show featuring Lyle Waggoner as Colonel Steve Trevor in WWII, and the following two seasons featuring Waggoner as Steve Trevor Jr. in the 70s. It’s unclear presently if Pine is portraying the same character, or his heir.

With Justice League playing off of Diana’s apparent struggle to move on from her love to Steve the first, it’s going to be curious how this prequel fits into the timeline.

Gal Gadot also shared an image, showing Diana of Themyscira in front of a wall of screens.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set for release on the 1st of November, 2019.
