Scarlett Johansson To Lead Massage Parlour Biopic Rub & Tug

Avengers: Infinity War
actress Scarlett Johansson has joined the cast of director Rupert Sanders’ forthcoming drama about a real-life sexually-liberated massage parlour owner in the 70s.

Rub & Tug will be the second time Johansson and Sanders have teamed up, following last year’s Ghost in the Shell, and will see Johansson play Jean Marie Gill – a woman  who ran an incredibly successful massage parlour and prostitution racket in 1970s Pittsburgh by assuming the identity of a man; Dante ‘Tex’ Gill.

Scarlett Johansson is presently filming Taika Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit, in which she plays a mother in WWII Nazi Germany who is harbouring a young Jewish girl in her attic – including hiding her from her young son, whose imaginary friend is Adolf Hitler. Rub & Tug is currently lacking a release date.
