Paul Hogan to return to the big screen with The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee

Following the character’s (kind of) return during this year’s Super Bowl ad run, Paul Hogan will revisit the legacy of his Mick “Crocodile” Dundee character for the forthcoming comedy, The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee.

A co-venture for Piccadilly Pictures, Salt Media, and Transmission Films, the feature film will see Hogan play himself in the comedy, in which the eighties star is on the brink of receiving a Knighthood, only for his name and reputation to become increasingly tarnished through a series of unfortunate mishaps.

Strange Bedfellows director Dean Murphy is helming the project, which he’ll also produce with Nigel Odel. No supporting cast are in place at this time, but with production gearing up to begin next month in Australia, Vancouver and LA, announcements should be imminent.
