Gary Oldman, Jessica Alba Join Quirky Thriller Killers Anonymous

Let’s Be Evil director Martin Owen has signed Gary Oldman and Jessica Alba for his forthcoming thriller Killers Anonymous, about a therapy group for murderous individuals.

The film will mark Oldman’s first project since his Academy Award-winning turn in The Darkest Hour, as British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. The feature has just begun shooting in London, and will explore a series of secretive meetings between those who suffer urges to snuff out the lives of those around them. When a political assassination goes awry, the group’s loyalty to one-another will be tested, and a series of betrayals will begin to unravel.

Tommy Flanagan, Sam Hazeldine, Rhyon Nicole Brown, MyAnna Buring, Tim McInnery, Michael Socha, Elizabeth Morris, Elliot James Langridge, and Isabelle Allen will all also star.

The picture has been written by Elizabeth Morris and Seth Johnson, in collaboration with director Owen. Production house Goldfinch Studios is reportedly hoping for a “cult classic” from the project.
