Chris Pratt’s Cowboy Ninja Viking Pulled From Universal’s Schedule Indefinitely Following Rumoured Creative Differences

Universal Studios has indefinitely pulled Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt’s forthcoming comic book adaptation Cowboy Ninja Viking from their schedule, with rumours swirling about tribulations on set.

The film, based on the Image Comics title of the same name, had recently cast Bollywood legend Priyanka Chopra as its female lead. However, sources close to the production have said that it came to “a screeching halt” yesterday, with many citing “heavy turbulence” on set. Now, the studio is looking to step in and change elements to smooth over the production.

Game of Thrones and Westworld director Michelle MacLaren was onboard to direct the feature. It’s unknown when, or even if, production will resume once more. Meanwhile, Chris Pratt has recently been in the news after he signed a letter from the cast of the Guardians of the Galaxy films requesting the reinstatement of James Gunn, following the director’s firing after a concentrated smear campaign by alt-right bloggers.
