Fortitude International have landed the rights to the infamous rivalry story between sportswear brands Adidas and Puma.
Currently untitled, the in-development project is set in Nazi Germany and follows the the rivalry between brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler as they divide their family over control of their hand-made athletic footwear business. The fallout would see the emergence of two of the most recognisable brands on the planet.
Andrew Garfield and Nadine de Barros are producing the project along with Rupert Fowler, the publicist turned writer who will also pen he screenplay. Shooting is planned for next year, with the film currently searching for a director.
