T.J. Miller will not be edited out of the Deadpool sequel over misconduct allegations

Comedian T.J. Miller may have been mired in recent sexual misconduct allegations, though the Silicon Valley star will reportedly remain an unaltered presence in upcoming superhero comedy sequel Deadpool 2.

A fan favourite element of last year’s breakout smash, Miller’s return for the sequel has been something of a question mark in the wake of actors such as Kevin Spacey and Ed Westwick having both already seen completed material excised and refilled with replacement actors. According to producer Lauren Shuler Donner, however, this is not going to the case with Miller.

“We’re in the final editing. I don’t think so,” she revealed to Rotten Tomatoes, before adding that his return for any future sequels would be “a whole studio thing. I don’t know.”

Deadpool 2 arrives in cinemas in June.
