Russell Crowe and Dakota Fanning set for Bad Times at the El Royale

Russell Crowe and Dakota Fanning have reportedly boarded Drew Goddard’s directorial follow-up to The Cabin in the Woods, Bad Times at the El Royale.

Jeff Bridges, Chris Hemsworth, and Pacific Rim: Uprising’s Cailee Spaeny are already confirmed to be signed up for the sixties-set noir thriller, with Hemsworth revealing during a 12 Strong press event this past weekend that Crowe and Fanning were also involved.

Details on anybody’s roles remain under wraps for the time being, the story following a group of strangers whose lives intersect at the titular Lake Tahoe hotel. Production is being fast-tracked meanwhile, with filming set to take place in March and April, and a release set for October 5th.
